After repeated ongoing modifications and improvements, the KIPOR new KD488A and KD498 diesel engines performed flawlessly. On July 6th, experts from each department signed their approval on the review report indicating that the engines have successfully passed Kipor’s rigorous review program.

As the project of the new diesel engines established, the No.1 Engine Development Department finished researching and offered the review application on time according to the design plan. On May 6^th, the chief engineer office organized the project final review on the new engines KD488A and KD498, with the presence of vice president Mr Ye Jianhua, some other leaders and experts. In this review, the professors put forward some questions and suggestions about the new engines, and the engine development department has finished all necessary modifications and improvements, so made a good end of the new engine development program.
